Project summary
Sports betting can be very challenging, whether you’re first time or in the industry for some time. It can get even worse of you don’t know what tools you have. Bettor is created to ensure the users fund safety and to help them with their bets also protecting them from potential hacks and attacks. The app has highly personalized betting features such as prioritized and tailored markets, live bet tracking and exclusive promotions. Bettor's deep integrations make it even simpler for fans to create bet slips, follow their action and even receive cash out offers for Bettor.
Problem statement
The competition among betting apps is really tough and it was a challenging task to create a platform that would stand out among the crowd. The platform needed to be more than an information and social communication source. It was also meant to be a bridge between the bettors and the fans. In addition, an in-depth analytics section was required both for the sports events and the sportsmen.
The Process

I started off by stakeholder interviews, competitor research, and the creation of the main user personas for the platform. The main drawbacks of the similar platforms were identified which helped to use those details as a potential competitive advantage. Such were the gaps in live update sections, and the hard sign-up flows.

Further, the user journey maps were created and converted into the first low fidelity sketches. After discussions with the stakeholders and several rounds of updates, the final designs were created including the UI components and the design system overall.
The solution
- Thus, we’ve created a platform that united the bettors and sports fans. Apart from facilitating their betting experience the platform also gives them a chance to communicate, discuss games, follow each other and so forth.
